Margalla Trail Runners (MTR) is a hill, trail & mountain running club based in Islamabad, Pakistan. The club's objective is to promote hill, trail & mountain running in Pakistan. MTR Club members regularly run on the trails of Margalla Hills.

Winter Trail Running Race Series consists of 3 races; Short, Medium, and Long-distance races. The series happens in the months of January and February every year.  

Inter-Club Hill Half Marathon is a hill road race and friendly running competition among running clubs/teams. The race happens in the month of March every year.  

Galiyat Mountain Trail is an inter-connected/linked trail of Galiyat, Abbottabad District of KPK, Pakistan. The trail starts from Thandiyani to Khaira Gali or vice versa. Galiyat Mountains are part of the Himalayan foothills. The race happens in the mid of July every year.  

Margalla Backyard Ultra (MBU) is the 1st ever BackyardUltra in the history of Pakistan. MBU is associated with Backyard Ultra (an international association and pioneer of Backyard Ultras around the world). MBU happens in the month of December every year.
